· Bichon's are hypo-allergenic non-shedding dogs

· The average life span is about 13 to 15 years

· They get to be approximately 8 to 12 lbs.

· They stand about 8 to 10 inches

· They are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities

· They are rated as highly intelligent, easily trained and eager to please

· The Bichon is generally an all white dog with some shades of apricot, peach, taupe or beige - Most of the shading fades by the time the dog reaches maturity at about 18 months.

· They have dark eyes with shading all the way around the eye that's often referred to as a halo.  It gives their eyes wonderful depth and expression

· They have dark black noses and pads on their feet.  The pads are often pink in color when they are born and gradually darken.

· They are high in energy

· Compact size makes them great for indoor living in modest living quarters

· They require regular hair cuts and grooming

· They are great with kids and other pets!
